Educator Standards Board: Many documents that govern our jobs may be found at the Educator Standards Board web site link found in the menu.
The Ohio Legislature has clarified the frequency of BCII/FBI background checks. Should you need to renew a shorter term license like a Pupil Activity Supervision certificate while you still hold a valid five year certificate, you will not have to complete a background check again until the longer license is due for renewal. Permanent certificate holders will still have to do a background check every five years. Here are links to more information:
